The 86th Annual Academy Awards

       Every year, the Academy of Motion Picture and Science award the Oscars to the accomplished, well - known people for the best acting creation, direction, scenery or sound - track. In my opinion, the Oscar Awards have the most commercial and prestigious meaning.To start with, the Oscar statue is an award for something impressive that somebody has achieved and for the skill that somebody has. It is a great privilege and an honor to receive an Oscar, especially for those who have achieved distinction in the arts and sciences of motion pictures.

       
         In addition to this, artists who take part in the Oscar ceremony are full of talent. They usually play meaningful roles in films and a lot of them are still waiting for being symbolize. Of course, the winners celebrate over their success and have a hope of relight in the future. On the other hand, some people argue that the Hollywood values are extremely significant. Other people criticize famous stars for being so badly dressed or looking like a disaster. What' s more, a journalists claim that some actress' behavior is very unnatural. They get to shine like the star in order to maintain a high profile.

        

      The most awaited awards of the year is the Academy Awards ceremony which  was presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), honored the actors, technical achievements, and films of 2013 and took place on March 2, 2014, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The ceremony was scheduled one week later than usual to avoid conflict with the broadcast of the 2014 Winter Olympics. During the ceremony, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences presented awards in 24 categories. Televised in the United States by ABC. My most favorite Comedian Ellen DeGeneres hosted the show for the second time, after hosting the 79th ceremony in 2007. Later in the ceremony  Ellen tried to humanize it with an Oscar selfie.

 Then the pizza treat went on in between. Rainn Wilson actually timed it, saying in a tweet that the selfie went on for 11 minutes and 54 seconds. The pizza was ice cold by the time it was over and so was the joke.

 The nominees for the 86th Academy Awards were announced on January 16, 2014. 'American Hustle' and 'Gravity' tied for the most nominations with ten each. Even though I have not seen some of the movies which have won the Oscars, but those which I have seen were the highest rated movies that eventually won. 

'Gravity' won seven awards, the most for the ceremony, including Best Director. '12 Years a Slave' won three awards, including Best Picture and Best Supporting Actress. But it seems that the Academy Awards has lost their youthful spark, they do not really have all that many other surprising instances anymore, Youthful sparks only seem to get it in trouble. It was Woody Grant, hesitated towards Lincoln Neb. a little bit stunned and a little bit confused in the annual TV awards presentations. The Grammy's have now emerged as the standard of what an awards show should be.

       To conclude, I strongly believe that Oscar Awards have a particular meaning. The winners are awarded for their hard work, commitment and unique capabilities. When they receive an Oscar statue they have an edgy feel and they are so excited. So, who does not dream about holding an Oscar statue and giving the best speech that include a huge list of thank-yous for people no one has ever heard of.
